Daniel Vincent ("Dave") Lacambacal (he, him, his) was born and raised in the Philippines, until age 11, when he moved to the U.S. with his family. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduating Magna Cum Laude, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Duke University where he was named University Scholar for the 2013-14 school year. He later completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree from East Carolina University.

Dave is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He is fluent in Tagalog (Filipino) and has been trained in medical Spanish.

Dave is very excited to be a part of the Heritage team and partner with his patients. His background in healthcare includes working in the Emergency Department for 7 years as a Registered Nurse. After seeing how common illnesses affect patients in the ER, he was driven to be in primary care, to help prevent and manage these illnesses. He looks forward to advocating for his patients and encouraging them in their journey of living healthy lives. He particularly enjoys helping patients with smoking cessation, improving chronic medical problems (i.e. Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Anxiety/Depression), providing IV therapy in clinic, and helping to correct hormone imbalances. Dave is currently undergoing certification in Integrative and Functional Medicine certification through the American Academy of Antiaging Medicine (A4M) to further help his patients be the best version of themselves.

Dave likes to stay active through rock climbing, either indoors or outdoors, exercising, and playing golf. In his free time, he loves to spend time with his wife, daughter, and their Great Pyrenees, Luna. He also enjoys reading fantasy novels, traveling, and discovering the unique cuisines different countries have to offer.
